Ieri lavoravo in redazione, rielaborando la bozza di traduzione di un libro, e durante le ricerche sono capitata su questo sito. Risorse e riflessioni interessanti su come usare le illustrazioni in un testo tecnico. Interessante.

Parole in volo

Di ritorno dalle vacanze.

Ho volato per la prima volta con Iberia, sfogliando distrattamente la loro rivista per passare il tempo (tradotta non male, per quel che posso valutare). E un titolo ha catturato il mio sguardo: “Recomendaciones de uso de nuestro idioma/Recommendations for Linguistic Usage”. Vi riporto l’introduzione in inglese:

“Iberia, Spain’s premier airline, is the leader on routes between Europe and latin America, with flights o 15 countries in the region. Since its creation in 1927, the airline has also been one of the most important vehicles for the dissemination of Spanish. On behalf of the proper use of a language spoken by 400 milion people around the world, Iberia and Fundéu (the ‘Foundation for Urgent Spanish’) work together on the defence of correct Spanish to provide uniform criteria for Spanish usage and offer quick answers to any linguistic query, thus helping to prevent misuse of the language, barbarisms and an indiscriminate invasion of neologisms.”
